I believe I’ve finally found the solution for a digital repository for all my ideas and inspiration. It’s Evernote. It’s free (with a paid level available), and you can post, paste, link, tag, list, and bookmark just about anything to your account. Evernote even has browser extensions and mobile phone apps to make adding anything that inspires, at anytime, easy to capture.

To all my classmates and fellow creatives, I highly suggest checking Evernote’s service out.

Digital Presentation for Apparel Design is a foundation class in the apparel program.  It introduces you to how Adobe programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator can be used as tools for creating things such as concept boards, illustration boards, technical flats, etc.  I’d never really used photoshop outside of basic digital photograph editing so I learned a lot of new things in this class.

The final project was come up with a concept, design 3 ensembles from that concept, illustrate them, draw up the technical flats, etc, etc.  I still haven’t taken an actual class on fashion illustration so I’m still working out the kinks in that departent.

Here are the concept board and the illustrations.
