Just a heads up!
Did you know you can create a Google Account without having a Gmail address? You can still use your Hotmail, Yahoo, etc., and start using Google’s social network. I’ve a scant 150 Google+ invites left! LOL. Let me know if you’d like one.

Evernote @Last
I believe I’ve finally found the solution for a digital repository for all my ideas and inspiration. It’s Evernote. It’s free (with a paid level available), and you can post, paste, link, tag, list, and bookmark just about anything to your account. Evernote even has browser extensions and mobile phone apps to make adding anything that inspires, at anytime, easy to capture.

4th of July 2011 with Dad
For this year’s 4th of July I loaded the bike and headed down to Albany, Oregon to visit my Dad. The day began with a twelve mile bike ride along the nearby country roads, passing by many farms and fields.
Afterwards we drove in to downtown Albany to visit The Albany Brass Ring, a community volunteer restoration project of a vintage 1909 carousel. The work being done there is amazing.

Kinda Disappointed...
The current “Industrial Denim Jacket” from Lucky Brand (Style# 7M30102) and the “Legend” version of the same jacket (Style# 7M30103) are absolutely blatant knock off of the Levi’s Type 2 denim jacket.

The recovery process has begun. It typically takes me a good two days to recover from finals week. I kicked off the process as soon as finals were over with a chipotle chicken burritto from my favorite Mexican cart, followed by a shower, 2 ibuprofen, and a 3 hour nap.

Well…the completion if my draping final was thwarted by a migraine. At least I think it was a migraine. I do know that it must have been my body retaliating against the poor sleep pattern. I powered through it as long as I could, but when the dry heaving started is when I threw in the towel.
The good news is that with 3/4 of my project complete I’ll still pass the class.
My experimental design final was well received. Yay! Now I think I’ll take nap before tackling the last half of my draping final, which is at 8am tomorrow.
